In January 2022, the Whangawehi team has been busy upgrading several public facilities along the walkway. Russel Janes, builder, has been busy building a stair case for the toilets and various picnic tables and seats. Malcom Westerlund has been installing a large number of interpretative and direction signs. The walkway is staring to look like a real gem. We will keep you posted.
